At the CES 2017, the famous notebooks and other computing parts making company, ASUS claimed to have launched the World’s lightest, a 14-inch business laptop.
ASUSPro B9440, that weighs 2.31 pounds has a full-HD display and is powered by 7th-Generation Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processors, with up to 16GB of RAM and as much as 512GB of SSD storage. The laptop is about 12.6 inches wide and has USB 2.0 along with Type-C ports for connectivity purposes.
The Pro B9440 is made of magnesium alloy, that’s why it is lightest in weight.
The laptop also has been tested for rigorous conditions. The device has passed MIL-STD 810 G standards and can stand extra-high dropping. The device was also put to 50,000-cycle hinge, lid pressure, and keyboard spill resistance tests.
The laptop will be available in the global market in May this year, with a price tag starting from $999.
