Photo sharing platform, Instagram is adding the ability for its users to view Stories on internet browser. Login to and the Stories can be viewed at the top of feed, just like in its mobile app.

Instagram has the usual tap left or right feature to move between posts and stories in its mobile app, but for browser, company is adding arrows to help users navigate.


Alongside the official roll-out of the feature to all web users, Instagram, in the coming months, will also allow users to post stories from mobile web, which will prove to be helpful for those who love editing their images and videos before sharing them as stories.

The new update has already started to roll out globally. Instagram further stated that it has no plans to let users upload photos or Stories from the desktop.
