LG’s upcoming smartphone V30, which is set to be launched on 31st of August, is turning out to be an interesting flagship. There have been several leaks of the phone including the company ditching secondary screen in favor of a floating bar but now LG itself has teased the floating action bar including some of the V30’s software prowess.
LG‘s Android skin is getting a bump to version 6.0 with a few improvements for the V30. The company has confirmed that the device will have a floating bar, which will work as a quick access to various functions.
Another important feature; the users will be able to unlock the LG V30 with the selfie cam’s face recognition feature, which works even when the device’s screen is off, and doesn’t require the user to press the phone’s power button.
V30 is also set to offer extra security features including users being able to unlock the device with their voice. The feature utilizes user-set keywords to open the device using Qualcomm’s Aqstic voice UI technology.
Among the other features, the V30’s always-on display feature will offer new customization options. In addition to the existing clock, users will be able to add the floating tools, a music player, or a picture.
