Netflix is rolling out a button that would allow viewers to skip a show’s intro sequence, as reported by The Verge.

As reported by TheNextWeb, It seems that the button doesn’t show up on a show’s first episode – but after that it appears on every episode of pretty much any show I tried.

Skipping the opening credits is a long-standing request of many Netflix users, who are prone to binge-watching shows and would rather not watch the long intros many times a day.

That said, Netflix does often skip intros automatically if the shows are on auto-playing mode.

Android Netflix users can now directly save movies to an SD Card

The new feature is being rolled out globally but it appears to be available for web users – for now. Rolling it out more broadly would require app updates on the many platforms where Netflix is available.
