Evan Blass, a reliable source has shared an image of HMD’s upcoming Nokia flagship, the Nokia 8. The device will be the first Nokia Android flagship. And the phone is expected to be announced on July 31st.

HMD is way behind time when it comes to design. The Nokia 8 design looks a lot like the other budget Nokia HMD phones. There are huge top and bottom bezels, capacitive hardware navigation buttons, and a front fingerprint reader.

The leak suggests that the Nokia 8 will house a dual-camera Zeiss optics, with 13-megapixel rear dual cameras. Nokia is collaborating with Carl Zeiss optics to make the cameras.

The phone is further rumored to have Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and is expected to run on Android 7.1.1. Here is a round up of expected specifications:

→ 5.3-inch QHD display
→ Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor
→ Android 7.1.1
→ 3999mAh battery
→ 4GB or 6 GB RAM
→ 13-megapixel rear dual cameras
→ Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection

Given the specs and the latest Android OS, the HMD Nokia 8 – despite the hug bezels and behind the time design – would be worth paying attention to if the company keeps the price down.
