Niantic noted that gamers have logged more than 8.7 billion kilometers while playing the game on their mobiles and have captured 88 billion Pokémon in the process. To put that in perspective, that’s about 200,000 trips around the globe.
Pokemon GO for Apple Watch not only brings in fiteness prospect, but it also offers some other cool features. Player will get notified when through push notifications whenever there is a Pokemon nearby, when you’re in the vicinity of a PokéStop, when your eggs hatch, and when the medals are awarded.
That being said, despite all these features, in order to actually catch a Pokémon, you’ll still need the help of your iPhone.
Nevertheless, it is great to have the Pokémon GO finally on Apple Watch, which will make playing the game way more cooler than ever.
