Couple of days after Google announced real-time location sharing feature for Google Maps – Facebook has came up with its own version. The feature, called ‘Live Location’, will roll out in the latest update to the billion of Messenger users over the coming few days.

Live Location will allow your friends to track you in real-time. Once you’ve selected your drop off location, a timer will also show them how long it’ll take you to arrive. The feature can be stopped anytime by tapping ‘Stop Sharing’.

The Live Location tab will be in the same row of options on Messenger as GIFs, games and others. You’ll, obviously need to enable your location to use the service.

The feature will be available on both iOS and Android devices.
