A year since long awaited night mode for Twitter’s Android app debuted, the company is now finally testing out the feature for its desktop site; Joe Maring over at 9to5Google noticed.

The toggle resides in a very similar position to where it is in the Android app. Click on the profile photo in the top right corner and you’ll find the Night Mode option right at the bottom, below Log Out. Clicking the option turns the background into dark bluish-gray, while other UI elements and text changes from dark to light.

Night Mode for Twitter on the desktop makes the site look more polished and easier on the eyes for late-light Tweeting. The feature isn’t there for everyone to use as it’s still in testing phase, but it’s expected to be made available worldwide soon.
