In efforts to make some real money, Twitter is testing a subscription program that will promote accounts and tweets for $99 per month.
The new service differs from regular ads. The program is an all-in-one offer, in which, once subscribed, Twitter itself will boost tweets and accounts, as well as provide a report card that’ll show the track record of selected accounts.
A company’s spokesperson said that the program is still being tested and is intended for use by small and medium-sized businesses.
“Instead of creating and optimizing separate Twitter Ads campaigns yourself, this program will do the heavy lifting,” the company stated in a landing page for the program.
The new program also comes after the company announced a dismal quarter of earnings, in which the company had no user growth and saw the ad prices decline.
