android P notch

Google‘s latest and the greatest Android OS, the Android 8.0 Oreo is only present on 1.1 percent of the Android phones and the company has some serious work to do to get the OS to most users — but the company is already hard at work on Android P, and we are hearing our first rumors about it.

According to the Bloomberg, one of the main goals of Android P is reportedly ”improving the look of the software” to better appeal to iPhone users.

Google is said to be designing the Android P to integrate with camera notches, such as the ones found on the Essential Phone and iPhone X. It’s also rumored that the OS will provide better support for different form factors of Android devices.

If we go by the tradition, Google will likely announce the Android P with a developer preview sometime in March with a formal unveiling at Google I/O in May before launching the final version in the fall.
