The wait is finally about to get over: Apple is announcing its next generation iPhone on September 12, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Apple usually announces its iPhone in September. But this time around, the company is reportedly revealing three devices. One is the fancy, brand new iPhone 8, while the other two are the iPhone 7s and 7s Plus, with less radical design changes.
The iPhone 8 is expected to cost around $1000 in some configurations. The device will feature advanced facial recognition and might lack Touch ID on the front. All three devices are also expected to include wireless charging.
At its product launch event, Apple is also expected to reveal its Apple Watch with an LTE chip, while some leaks also suggest the company will also release a 60-inch television.
