Chrome notifications are great for the websites but not so much for the visitors. Now that almost every site supports them, that banner under the URL bar can get annoying most of the times. Though you can block each site individually, but that doesn’t really solve the issue.

There is a solution to that and it’s actually really quite simple; Just head over to chrome://settings/content/notifications – copy and paste the link manually – and flip the toggle from “Ask before sending” to “Blocked.”

For Android devices, you can do the same by going to the Settings in Chrome and scroll down to “Site Settings” under “Advanced.” There tap on the “Notifications” and switch toggle from “Ask before allowing to send notifications” to “Blocked.”

There you have it. Goodbye to the annoying notifications, forever.
