The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) has recently issued a warning against the hazards of cellphone radiation. According to the health department, the cellphones are leaking electromagnetic radiations.
The CDPH has asked people to decrease their use of mobiles.
“Although the science is still evolving, there are concerns among some public health professionals and members of the public regarding long-term, high use exposure to the energy emitted by cell phones,” said CDPH director Dr. Karen Smith.
The warning comes after findings were offered up this week from a 2009 department document, which was published after an order from the Sacramento Superior Court.
“The cellphone manufacturers want you to keep a minimum distance away from your body and you should find out what that distance is,” UC Berkeley professor, Joel Moskowitz told a local news station KCRA.
“If you keep the device by your body you will exceed the safety limits provided by the Federal Communication Commission.”
According to the guide issues by the CDPH, there are many ways to reduce thes harmful effects of the cellphones.
→ Keep your phone away from your body.
→ Avoid using a cell phone when it is sending out a high level of radio frequency.
→ Don’t sleep next to your phone or avoid placing it near to your head.
→ Remove the head et when you are not on call.
→ Set to airplane mode, when it’s not in use.
