Facebook has finally added the much anticipated option to share your screen directly on Facebook Live. The feature was first spotted The Next Web.

The screen-sharing feature adds a new “Share Screen” button to your Facebook Live screen. When clicked, it shows a prompt asking you to allow the extension to be installed to your browser. Currently the extension is only available on Chrome browser.

Once installed, it allows you to share your entire screen, or application window. You can even stream specific Chrome tabs.

Previously, you had to use Open Broadcaster Software in order to share your screen, and though, the new feature lacks some of the customizable features of OBS, it’s a much simpler way to share screens.
