Google at its event today announced a bunch of new gadgets and two of them are the Google Home Mini and Max.

Newest additions to the Google’s already existing Home family, both the products will be able to do pretty much the same things: integrated with Google Assistant and will allow users to play music, set reminders, switch lights on and off, much like the original Google Home.

Google Home Mini

Competing with Amazon’s Echo Dot, the new Home Mini is designed to be used in multiple rooms of a house. It can also be connected to any Chromecast device with a speaker.

Hokme Mini is a smaller, more affordable version of the original Google Home. Though both the devices are capable of doing the same, the difference lies within the speaker quality.

The assistant will come in a variety of colors, including chalk, charcoal and coral, but won’t have switchable bases. The Mini will be available for $49, with pre-orders available today.

Google Home Max

The next addition to the Home family is the Google Max, a bigger version of the Google Home.

Bigger the size, better the sound. The Max comes with stereo speakers and smart sound, powered by AI. According to Google, the Max automatically tunes itself to any room you’re in, and adjusts itself depending on what you’re using it for.

Home Max features dual woofers and also comes with a 3.5 mm headphone jack. It microphones are so sensitive that it can pick up your voice even while playing music.

Max will be available in two colors: chalk and charcoal for $399 and will come with a 12 month subscription to YouTube Red.
