The search giant, Google has a tradition of publishing the most-searched terms and phrases at the end of every year. Named the ‘Year in Search,’ it highlights the most trending topics all around the world.
And now, as the year 2017 ends, the company has revealed the top searches of the year with a new video and a detailed Trends page.
The video highlights many of the top searches of the past year, including North Korea, natural disasters, ‘the wall’, the total solar eclipse, the Las Vegas Shooting, and the ‘Me Too’ movement.
Other than the video, the dedicated Trends page has a detailed list of the most popular searches, organized by category. The top tech searches of the year were iPhone 8, iPhone X, Nintendo Switch, Samsung Galaxy S8, and Xbox One X.
