YouTube might be getting a small yet handy new UI soon. Google appears to be testing a new user interface for the platform’s mobile app that will make it much easier to browse for content while watching videos.

Redditor Therexin first spotted the change. The current YouTube layout lets users minimize videos in the bottom making it easy to go through other video. The new UI does just that but also gives users a little more control over playback. Anytime a video is minimized in the bottom, users will see dedicated playback buttons next to the thumbnail.

In addition to the buttons, the title of the video is also displayed next to the thumbnail. Below is how the new UI looks:

As is the case with any other Google test, only a handful of users were selected for the YouTube’s new UI test, and there’s also no telling whether or when the feature will roll out to the officially.
