CyanogenMod, which came to an end last year, was the most popular custom ROM for years. However, when Cyanogen Inc shut down and turned into an autonomous tech company earlier this year, the CyanogenMod community reorganized under the LineageOS – which is successfully replacing the CyanogenMod.

On December 24th, the LineageOS celebrated one year since its formation. In a blog post announcing its birthday, the project revealed some interesting statistics. LineageOS now supports over 180 devices, with 1.7 million unique device check-ins over the past 90 days.

According to the numbers, over 700 people have contributed to the project, with 65% of those being translators.

The top five devices using the ROM are the OnePlus One, Samsung Galaxy S3, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Motorola Moto G4/G4 Plus and the Samsung Galaxy S5, while the top five countries using LineageOS are India, China, Brazil, Russia, and Germany.
