The next version of Microsoft Office is coming out soon. Microsoft announced that the Office 2019 will be released sometime in the second half next year and the previews will ship in mid-2018.

” …this release, scheduled for the second half of 2018, will include perpetual versions of the Office apps (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and servers (including Exchange, SharePoint, and Skype for Business). Previews of the new products will start shipping mid-year 2018,” said Microsoft in a blog post.

The company is making the 2019 version of the Office work for both customers that are already fully working in the cloud as well as those who are still on their way to that point.

Among the new features in Office 2019, Microsoft promises to add new and improved inking features — like tilt effects and ink replay, as well as the new formulas and charts and the visual animation features, like Morph and Zoom. Company will release further information about the release over the next months.
