Google takes on Apple’s AirPods and has announced its own wireless earbuds, Google Pixel Buds.
At the Made by Google event on October 4th, Google revealed Pixel Buds – the wireless headphones integrated with Google Assistant. All of the controls are built into the right earbud: users can swipe to change the volume or tap for other uses.
But the most revolutionary feature is the real time translator. Currently available only for the Pixel users, the Pixel Buds can become a personal translator, allowing users to translate from and to 40 different languages.
The buds come with a charging case, with 5 hours of listening time with one charge, and will be available three colors: Clearly White, Kinda Blue and Just Black.
Pre-orders begin today, at a price of $159.
