Samsung launched its Galaxy S8 recently and while the initial batch of reviews widely praised the brand-new flagship for its beautiful design and smooth performance, one major complaint that smartphone received was the inability to freely remap the dedicated Bixby button to launch other apps and features.

Smart developers were quick to come up with solutions that allowed users to customize the button, but Samsung was even quicker to shut them down. But the tweaks are still coming in, as the Developer Dave Bennet found a new way to remap the Bixby button to open Google Now.

The solution is a simple app that overrides the Bixby button in favor of Google Now. Though, Bixby still opens once you click the button, but it quickly backgrounds while Google Now launches.
