Before CES 2018, there were endless rumors that Samsung is going to launch its upcoming Galaxy S9 smartphone at the event, but now, it has been announced that you won’t be seeing the flagship before CES 2018 ends. DJ Koh has announced at a press conference in Las Vegas that the company will launch the Galaxy S9 and S9+ at Mobile World Congress.

At the MWC, Samsung will also reveal when the phone will be available for purchase, which will take place at the end of February in Barcelona, Spain.

Previous reports claimed Samsung will offer a peek at the Galaxy S9 at the CES, that, although didn’t happen but, you also won’t have to wait until the customary spring event Samsung holds to launch its flagship devices.
