World’s biggest smartphone brand, Samsung is all set to launch its latest Galaxy S series smartphone, the Galaxy S9 on February 25th and there has been numerous leaks about the device. The company has a history of going toe-to-toe with Apple, and now now a new report from ETNews claims that the S9 will include a “3D emoji” feature to counter the Apple’s famous Animoji that you can find on the iPhone X.
According to the sources, the smartphone would use upgraded facial recognition to create 3D faces that mimic your facial expressions. The technology would further lead to “more secure financial transactions,” that could allow you to use your face for Samsung Pay.
The rumor also confirms some previous leaks, including a rear camera with aperture control, dual rear cameras on S9 Plus and stereo speakers. And whether you like it or not, the Bixby hardware button would stay.
